Conditions for using the site
These conditions apply to everyone who reads or uses nie-madrid.com. By sending a request through the site, you accept them.
1. What this site is
nie-madrid.com is an independent, privately run information and assistance service about NIE, TIE and related procedures in Madrid. It is not a public authority and has no tie to any administration, police or civil.
2. The information on the site
The guides are written carefully and reviewed, but rules, forms and office arrangements change. What you read here is general information, not legal advice about your own case. Before you act, check the official source shown next to each office or procedure.
3. Requests sent through the forms
Sending a form does not create a contract or any obligation, for you or for us: it asks us to contact you about your situation. If you then choose paid assistance, its scope and price are set out and agreed with you in writing before any work starts, whether it is provided by us or by the partner who takes on your case.
4. What only the administration decides
NIE numbers, certificates, cards and authorisations are granted or refused by the competent public offices alone. We do not guarantee an appointment date, an outcome or a processing time, and we are not responsible for the decisions or delays of public offices.
5. Your own route is always open
Nothing here has to go through us. Each procedure can be taken straight to the competent office, at the cost of the official fees alone (the Modelo 790 código 012, for example). Assistance is optional.
6. Links to other sites
Some pages link to official sources and to partner services. We do not control their content or their terms, which apply when you use them.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the general information published here. Nothing in these conditions limits the rights you have as a consumer.
8. Applicable law and contact
These conditions are governed by Spanish law. For any question about them, write to desk@nie-madrid.com.
